A decorative layer- consisting of various designs that are very natural and is a result of being impregnated with resin. A layer of extremely tough melamine- giving the whole strip unequalled resistance against various hazards of everyday life, and whose transparency allows all the beauty of the design to show through.

A. Before installing the laminate flooring, it is important to ensure that there are no irregularities across the floor and the surface is smooth. Laminate floors are designed to be floating, which means that they are not bonded to any base surface. The floating design allows the flooring to adjust itself without damage to seasonal expansion and contraction associated with variations in temperature and humidity. This is why we first lay the an excellent underlay which apart from flattening out irregularities in the ground of up to 2 mm and being a good sound insulator (-17 db), also offers 100% anti-humidity and anti-steam protection. This is due to its aluminium film and built-in adhesive.
