Description

Solid wood, often used for furniture, construction, cabinetry and flooring, is lumber that has been milled directly from trees, whereas, other types of wood, such as plywood, medium-density fiberboard or veneers are manufactured from wood composites.

Advantages of Solid Wood Furniture:

Durability - Contrary to the many other cheaper materials, solid wood lasts years.

Easy Maintenance - Cleaning and maintaining solid wood furniture is very easy, usually as simple as regularly dusting.

Versatility - Every piece of solid wood has slight variations which really pop when seen together and can make it fit into any home aesthetic.

Superiority - A solid wood furniture will last for generations to come and its value will only go up and so it is worth the investment.

How to Preserve a Bonded-Leather Sofa:

1.Spills and White Rings - To avoid this, keep coasters nearby. Try blowing a hair dryer on the affected area. If that doesn’t work, rub car wax, petroleum jelly or toothpaste on the area, and then wipe away with a damp cloth. Do it immediately as moisture can travel far below the surface, and the longer it seeps in, the harder it is to remove.

2.Ink Stains - To get rid of ink, mix baking soda and water and pour it over the stain. Wipe it off with a damp cloth. Treated surfaces would do better with a mix of water and dish washing liquid. Test a small spot before treating the whole stain.

3.Chewing Gum - Remove as much of the gum as you can and freeze whatever’s left with a bag full of ice. Keep the bag on for about 10 minutes and then scrape the gum off with a butter knife or some other flat tool.

4.Nicks and Scratches - If the scratch is small, you can mask it with a marker, crayon, shoe polish or even coffee grounds. Choose a color that matches the finish and apply the solution in the direction of the scratch.
